Tommy and Rae met the way all great love stories should begin, at a party where Rae didn’t know a single soul… except the friend who dragged her there. It just so happened to be Tommy's house, and somehow, in a room full of strangers, he was the one person who felt familiar. The next weekend, Rae found herself right back at his place for another get-together, and by the end of the night they had made a completely unserious-but-totally-serious marriage pact. Looking back, it’s funny how two people can joke about something so big while secretly knowing they might actually mean it. Their first “date” wasn’t really a date at all. Rae didn’t ask him to go out with her; she simply told him to meet her for a sunset at Marsh Creek State Park. And he showed up. Everything between them just… clicked. They moved in together quickly, roommates and all, and life felt simple and right. Even through the hardest moments he never once left her side. His steadiness, his softness, and his ability to make her laugh through tears became the greatest gifts she didn’t know she needed. Tommy proposed in St. Thomas, the very night they arrived. As they were exploring the different beaches, right at sunset, the sky soft and glowing tommy popped the big question. It felt like everything in the universe aligned in that moment. Not long after, they found themselves taking over Rae's childhood home, creating a home filled with love for their future family. They cook together, play together, and spend an objectively “gross” amount of time together and somehow it never feels like enough. Being together feels like a sleepover with your best friend every single night: comforting, safe, a little chaotic, and always full of laughter. Their love isn’t just a story. It’s a home, a beginning, a promise they made long before either of them realized it. And they can’t wait to spend forever choosing each other, just like they did from the very start, when two strangers at a party somehow found exactly who they were meant to find.
